West Texas Road Hogs
A few months before the 2010 season started, it looked like the CBL would have had this alignment:
- Alexandria Aces
- Big Bend Cowboys
- Las Cruces Vaqueros
- South Louisiana Pipeliners
- Texarkana Gunslingers
- West Texas Road Hogs
While the final teams ended up being Big Bend, Las Cruces and the two travel teams (Coastal Kingfish and the Desert Valley Mountain Lions), only the West Texas Road Hogs never actually formed or played a game. I found a link on the Wayback Machine (Archive.org) which shows that a website actually did exist for a short period of time. Here is a rough idea of what the site looked like back in early 2010:
