We found an archive of the old Tarrant County Blue Thunder website which has player statistics for the 2007 season:
We found a Wayback (archive.org) August 2008 snapshot of the old CCbeachdawgs.com website. It provided a lot of useful information about the Corpus Christi Beach Dawgs including statistics, roster information, game recaps and schedule, a box score of the final game in team history (1st round of 2008 CBL playoffs against Texarkana) and front office personnel bios.
All of that information has been added to the Beach Dawgs page here:
Here is a link showing the team batting totals and overall standings for the CBL’s 2009 season:
We have just added a link to a spreadsheet (PDF format) which contains the 2007 stats on the respective team pages (find all teams here) which played during the 2007 Continental Baseball League season. Unlike later seasons, the statistics and rosters were not maintained as well as they could be by the individual teams so the spreadsheet likely will have:
- Missing players and pitchers
- Players and pitchers appearing on one section (such as batting) but not appearing on the bio section
- Incorrect or missing height, bat/throw and other information
- College attended
- Any draft information and/or previous affiliated MiLB experience
Nonetheless, the credit for what accurate information is there goes to Ted Turocy and his work with SABR and any other baseball history services. If others need credit for the accurate information then they will be mentioned in future blog posts on this website. Thank you to those who helped preserve the history as accurately as possible during the league’s history, especially during the first season of play.
If you have information to help improve the content of this 2007 data, such as bat/throw information and any missing players & pitchers, then please contact us. Over time, we will improve the missing & incorrect information to make the data better overall.

Here is a CBL trivia question:
On July 31, 2010 the CBL played its last game when the Big Bend Cowboys won the final game of a best-of-three series against the Las Cruces Vaqueros.
Who was the final pitcher and the final batter on the last pitch in the CBL?
Sean Kramer batted for the Vaqueros and Reed Alfieri was the pitcher for the Big Bend Cowboys.
The Alexandria Aces played for only season in the CBL, although the team played in other independent leagues during its existence. The 2009 stats have been added to the Aces page here:
