2007 CBL Championship
This page is dedicated to the 2007 Continental Baseball League championship series. It took place in Texas City, Texas in August 2007. It featured three teams (Bay Area Toros, Tarrant County Blue Thunder, and the Texas Heat). It featured a tournament-style of championship with the Tarrant County Blue Thunder getting a “bye” due to leading the 2007 CBL regular season in win percentage.
The Blue Thunder won the championship series.

Marcus Thornton led the way Sunday night pitching a complete game. He held the Toros to only 3 runs in 9 innings pitched. He didn’t have his best stuff, but battled all night. He was able to throw his breaking pitch for strikes & kept the Toros hitters off balance.
Joseph Pagan was 6-8 with 2 HR in the CBL Championship Series.
